Hydrowave - GE hydrowave


I bought the GE Hydrowave W&D a few years ago and have had issues ever since. After about 5 months of using the dryer all of the knobs fell off. Of course that was only discovered after 2 electricians made service calls and the second one noticed that the knob had started to crack. I ordered new knobs but am unable to determine the settings so a crescent wrench is holding the dial in place. None of the settings can be changed so it's regular heat without a timer regardless of the load. The basket in the washer is in a horrible position. I have scraped my arm skin off countless times emptying the washer. That alone made me want to throw the washer to the curb. If a load is even slightly off balance the washer is wrecked. I washed a couple off throw blankets and ever since the fabric softener dispenser does not work and the clothes are sopping wet after going through the spin cycle. Awful. Horrible. Not worth buying. I have been a loyal GE customer for years but I will not be any longer.
