I have a working television that I can no longer use due to your piece of crap remote. Our Sanyo television works fine except for one thing, the on/off switch is broken. That was no problem as long as we had a working remote. I bought a GE Universal Remote a couple of months ago because the one we had was beginning to give us trouble and we needed to be sure that we had a working remote. Well tonight it stopped working. I tried pushing the TV button repeatedly and replaced the batteries and nothing . I thought maybe reprogramming it would help. Well all it did when I tried the code search was shut off the television. Now to program the remote you have to have the television on, but with the on off button broken, you can't turn the television on to program the remote. When we programmed the remote the first time we still had the old remote that could turn it on if there was a problem, but we don't have the old one anymore. So now there is no way to turn the TV on. We are going to have to buy a new one thanks to that piece of crap remote we bought. And there really isn't anything you can do to make things better. Replacing the remote is useless. Unless you are willing to buy us a new TV (which I know isn't going to happen) then we are just SOL. So much for GE "quality>"
