GE Hydrowave - Hydrowave washer

This washing machine does not fill up with enough water to clean clothes consequently multiple loads have to be washed separately. Water has to be added for clothes to be submerged. If you change the cycle all the water will drain from the machine to refill. Will not recommend or repurchase another washing machine like this. Very dissatisfied. If you want to save water and get clean clothes purchase an old school washing machine with an agitator.

This review is totally true. My machine is just over a year old. With every load, I have to add water using a bucket because the water levels indicated on the sticker diagrams on the washer, in no way depict the water levels you get when it is set to Super/heavy load, for a much smaller load. When the water is too low for a load the washer is loud and struggles to agitate or whatever, so you have to add water or the clothes will not get clean. It now creaks and bangs when more water is added to cover the clothes even for smaller loads.

It's amazing how these big companies get away with selling this garbage. By now everyone who purchased this machine and is complaining about the same issue should be given free upgrades or repairs in order to have the product that new purchaser are getting. I am sure with all of these complaints GE has had time to address the issue and correct this problem are selling others the product I should have had; one that they have made better based on mine and everyone else's complaints. I see 5-star reviews for this product and in no way is that possible if others are having this same issue. If GE stands by its junky product they should be willing to poll this issue and do a recall or offer free repairs. Buyer beware, you may get one of the guinea pig editions instead of one of the upgraded ones. Before I purchased this washer I had never purchased a GE product. Just with this expensive lesson, I will never again. I won't even sell this garbage to get another brand. Selling it or donating it to a charity to sell to help others is cruel.
