I need a single $.50 plastic part that holds the top sprayer on. They do not have the part on the diagram, nor do they even make or have the part what so ever. It is a shame that this small critical part they do not sell or have makes the machine dysfunctional. They are scam artists and it should be illegal not to sell parts for their machines. So basically, it is going to cost $500 for a new machine rather than getting the $.50 cent part I need. The girl on the phone kept telling me the TUBE is not available, she did not know what she was talking about. She was looking at the same diagram... More...

  • Bought a washer from Lowes 2 months ago

Bought a GE Hotpoint washer 2 months ago from Lowes, from day one I thought after 15 years with the Whirlpool washer I had that maybe it was more robust and I just did not know how to balance a load. this washer has bounced all over from the first use when in spin. this afternoon I tried to wash a load, was sitting outside and heard what sounded like an airplane. to my dismay it was the washer, it had walked out of the laundry room with the only thing holding it was the hoses. I tried to rebalance the load but still the same issue. I took all the laundry out if it and it does even worse but... More...

  • Odor generated from new range

The smoke and odor generated from a new, expensive JB750DF range apparently caused by "aging" some component of the insulation is an insult to customers. One must run exhaust fans and have doors and windows open to vent the fumes to the outside, hopefully without killing any animals nearby. The fumes cause sore throats in humans, and no doubt, other as yet unknown longer term side effects. This is a common complaint across the industry, not just toward GE. This "aging" process should not be placed on the consumers; this should be accomplished in the factories when the... More...

  • Sears Washing Machine Model GTAP1800D1WW

I purchased this washing machine a little over a year ago and have been struggling with it since the first day. The washer has a corkscrew agitator on top and 4 plastic wings on the bottom. There is about a 1/2 inch gap between the plastic wing and the base of the agitator. Sheets and pillowcases get caught underneath the gap and get ripped. I have tried to just drop the clothes in rather than spread them out and nothing works. Today the plastic wing broke off because a pillowcase got caught underneath. This is labeled a Commercial Quality washer. Really?????? It can't handle one... More...

  • GE hydrowave

This is the worst washer I have ever used. Its only 2 yrs old and I hate it. My clothes com out dirty and the tub only fills a quarter of the way ven if u have it set on "Super". If I open the lid partially through the cycle the tops of the clothes are not even wet... Apparently you can only wash a hand full of clothes if you want clean clothes. This is such BS and I wouldn't recommend this washer to anyone. Not to mention the dryer is a piece of crap too! The clothes are NEVER dry with just one cycle... More...

  • Your product sucks!!

I purchased a stackable washer/dryer last February. It did not get delivered until March. I have had the unit 15 months and already the dryer doesn't work properly. It starts and doesn't heat up. I am a firm beliver in Kenmore products. I had my last Kenmore stackable washer/dryer for 15 years with NO problems. I am so sorry I thought GE just might be better for me. I was wrong and will NEVER buy another GE product. More...

  • Hydrowave

I bought the GE Hydrowave W&D a few years ago and have had issues ever since. After about 5 months of using the dryer all of the knobs fell off. Of course that was only discovered after 2 electricians made service calls and the second one noticed that the knob had started to crack. I ordered new knobs but am unable to determine the settings so a crescent wrench is holding the dial in place. None of the settings can be changed so it's regular heat without a timer regardless of the load. The basket in the washer is in a horrible position. I have scraped my arm skin off countless... • Hydrowave Joke!

We purchased a new top load GE Hydrowave clothes washing machine about 3 months ago What a disaster - complete joke of an appliance!! I have wasted so much time and money to try to get a load of clothes clean, I'm totally exhausted. How on earth can this stupid thing be energy efficient when I have to wash a load twice using twice as much water and soap trying to get a load clean? This rediculous thing doesn't use enough water to properly wash or rinse a load of clothes thereby having to wash twice. I have spoken with GE several times trying to resolve the issue following all... More...

  • GE refridgrerator not repaired properly

Our GE/Hotpoint refrigerator stopped making ice and dispensing water and frost was forming on the duct door. We had 2 GE repairmen out on several occasions. The replaced the icemaker, the fan motor, and the duct door assembly. On the final visit, by a GE technician who actually knew what he was doing, he said the other 2 repairmen had misdiagnosed the problem and we would need a brand new left door. We have already thrown away $723.04 on unnecessary repairs and all GE will offer us is $303.36 in the form of a refund or a credit toward a new GE refrigerator. We cam't even get Kristin, our... • Refrigerator and dish washer installation

Recently acquired a refrigerator and dish washer from Home Depot and they had a contractor named Freight Rite do the delivery and install. It took four separate attempts for Freight Rite to get the install date/time correct. Calls to their warehouse in Toledo and Huber Heights Ohio went unanswered. When they finally got it right, they damaged the entry way and kitchen tile. When I called to complain they would never answer the phone. When I called their Toledo office I got a run around. It seems the people they hire are very defensive and couldn't care less about serving the... More...

  • GE Hydro Washing Machine

Unfortunately I too bought this machine thinking it was going to save water and money. Shortly after having it I complained to GE about the soap or residue that is left on the clothes. They sent someone and changed the agitater with one that had holes so that the water could go more freely thru it. Also complained about clothes being all tangled together. They told me to use HD detergent and less of it. I just about cover the bottom of the bottle cap and it still comes out with all this residue. Worse machine I have ever owned and I think it should be recalled and junked. I too feel it... More...

  • General Electric Dishwasher

@JeffImmelt I joined Twitter so I could contact you. I wanted you to know about our experience with our GE dishwasher. We paid almost $1200.00 for our new dishwasher in April 2014. It was installed on 4/21/2014. I washed one load and the upper arm unit fell off. I called Lowes(where we purchased it) and the customer service man came with a new one and installed it. The dishwasher worked 10 minutes and we had to call Lowes again. A GE technician came on 4/21/2014. He discovered that the door latch was broken, ordered parts and said to call when parts arrived. Meanwhile, we had to... More...

  • Refrigerator

In 2008 we bought a GE model PSCS3RGXAESS refrigerator. Immediately the freezer shelves started falling out. We contacted the company and also reported that the baskets we quite loose. GE sent a few new shelves but said they had not received other complaints about the baskets so would not replace them. Now the baskets are falling, dumping food and containers dangerously toward the person who opens the freezer door and knocking shelves out. GE does not respond to our emails from their customer service page. More...

GE Hydrowave washer GTWN2800DWW I have owned this washer less than 24 hours and have had to reset the motor to get it to spin twice already. I have put in a request to have it removed and I will replace it with a SOLID brand like whirlpool or Maytag. I read many reviews and did not see anything like the ones on here, if I had I wouldn't have spent a dime on it period!!!!! Last try here I put in a load at noon Monday and left to go out. • GE hydro wave washer and sensor dryer

Thiis is the worst pair of machines. I wish I had my old machines back that were 15 years old. The Hydro wave washer makes so much noise it sounds as though there is a train in my washing machine. When it comes to towels I have had to rewash the towels numerous times because the soap has not drained and the towels are soaking wet and have not spun out. The dryerdoes not always dry the clothes through thoroughly. I have had GE out two times regarding the small lint trap. It appears to be a fire hazard at times because it is so small and Lint collects very quickly. Lint also gets all over... More...

  • WASHING MACHINE

Just got this washer delivered couple of hours ago. I notice that the auto fill is not providing the proper level (too low) and agitates very slow that the clothes on the top just stays there not being sucked in under the agitator blade. My old 15 year old Whirlpool washer is outperforming this G.E. Home Depot is not accepting this washer until a G.E technician or repair guy confirm that this washer is not thoroughly cleaning the clothes. G.E IS VERY BAD CHOICE OF WASHER! I will be buying Whirlpool next time. More...

  • GE Electric Stove

Something BAD is wrong with this stove. I used the self cleaning feature for the first time last night. I was almost affixiated! The smell was so bad I had to shut it off after 30 minutes. I opened the doors and windows, turned on the A/C and ceiling fans. After 2 hours the smell still permeated my house! Even today there is still a slight odor. I could have died I suppose if I had left it on. I am very angry about this, but don't know WHO to complain to. Something is radically wrong with this oven. More...

  • Hydro Wave Washing machine

I can not begin to tell you what a piece of junk this machine is. I am having all of the water level issues and the same clothes getting wrapped around the agitator problems. I am doing double the laundry because of the low water levels. Which means double the electricity I use and pay for. My water is free so that's not a problem. I am going up and down the basement steps twice as much and I have a bad knee and hip.The clothes do not spin all the way dry even on the extra rinse and spin option. Which means another trip up and down the steps to do a quick spin cycle after a regular... More...

  • Washer DOA

I Bought this GE Washer on May 25, 2012 as of today, the washer it totally useless. Everything was great but suddenly two months ago the washer began having trouble staying in balance - no matter what size load or what kind of load. Now the washer stays out of balance and sounds like a freight train in the spin cycle (rinse or wash). This is a two year old washer!! I purchased an extended warranty from Lowe's but I cannot use that either as they don't have service contractors that come on the weekends. REALLY. Looking at the internet I see this is a common issue with my model... More...

  • GE Hydrowash - Don't Buy It

I specifically purchased this top loading model as it said I could manually control the water level. A repairman came and replaced the motherboard which made no difference. Went to Home Depot where I purchased it plus contacted GE. Was given a story that the bin should only fill with only a few gallons of water - even though I may want it half full. Haven't gotten anywhere with this and am sure sorry that I purchased this GE Product in May, 2013. More...

  • poor hydrowave washer

Purchased washer 2 years ago--8 months after purchasing, had to have a repair man over due to spin cycle violently shaking the washer. Thought it did a beautiful job at first; but it can't be leveled properly or there is just something very wrong with the washer. Even if there is a small load; it does this each time. The appliance store salesman says there have been numerous complaints--we will have to purchase another washer because this is really getting on our nerves. We have always had GE appliances and never had a problem like this. We just need to spread the word to everyone... More...

I wish I had read these reviews before I purchased my GE Hydro washer. I live in the Bahamas and therefore have no support services for my washer. This has been a nightmare us. We lost hundreds of dollars on this purchase which included shipping and custom duty charges. We are so disappointed. More...

I bought a GE washer, Model GTWN2800D1WW.
I AM ANGRY!!! I've had trouble with this washing machine since we first got it.
Straps from camisole tops, bra straps and ties to pajama bottoms are getting caught under the agitator blades. When I pull my clothes out they are all knotted up and caught around the blades. I literally have to untie them from around and under the blades! A few times I've had to cut the strings that are caught! POOR DESIGN!!! The washer will break eventually. I've had to cut off the drawstrings to all yoga pants and pajama bottoms. Right now I would not recommend GE washers to anyone.

I need help with my GE hydrowave washer that i have had for about 5 years with very low usage. I did purchase the extended warranty when I purchased it, but that has now expired. My washer will not agitate or spin and I cant replace or repair becauce of financial healthcare issues. I only buy GE products, but am very dissappointed with this washer.

I purchased the GE Adora frontloading washing machine and dryer pair. I thought good for me because it was a GE and what could possibly go wrong and good for the environment. The machines cost over $2000 but for quality and dependability certainly worth it. I hate and despise these machines and curse myself for being a FOOL! I have had to replace the gasket on the washing machine not once but three times at considerable expense. NOW the washing machine is not spinning. The dryer doesn't dry - some problem with an electrical board. I AM OUT $3000 ODD DOLLARS. I HATE GE!

The General Electric Washer 316Gww is a bad product, and you know it. You need to make that right with the customers that purchased that product.

My elderly mother bought a GE Senser Microwave Oven about 2 years ago..Model JES1651sJ02, Serial..Sl 90032011, manufactured Sept. 2006. I openned the microwave door and had my mind on placing the container in the exact middle. As I was moving the container inside the openned microwave, the microwave started.I was so startled that I thought the sound was coming from another appliance until my brother shouted, "the microwave is on, you are microwaving your hand" I pulled my arm out quickly and it was already warm to the touch. We quickly closed the microwave and it shut off. I was still determined to heat my food and turned the microwave on with the food in and the door closed. The turntable started to turn backwards for 30 seconds, pause and turn correctly for 10 seconds, cut off and the timer kept counting down. It totally cut off and then when we tried to restart it it did nothing. I am very concerned about my right hand...it has feft different since this happened. We would like some type of compensation. We do not wish to get another GE microwave...We are scared to use one again.

I bought a G.E. Hydrowave washer last May.I had it 3 weeks when the motor went out.It was under warranty so G.E.put installed another one.The Hydrowave is supposed to be a super QUIET machine. It is that but I couldn't see if the clothes were actually agitating as the Hydrowave does not have an agitator that pulls the clothes under the water. The TUB moves back and forth instead and since the motor is on the tub, to do this it is constantly jerking the motor back and forth. The machine started making a terrible noise and I called the repairman but the noise had stopped before he arrived. While he was here I had him disconnect the switch that allowed the washer to stop when the door was lifted. I observed the washing cycle and found the clothes only move back and forth and does not get pulled UNDER the water.A pair of jeans,as well as the other things next to the top of the water would not even have gotten wet if I hadn't taken a toilet plunger and pushed them under the water. The same clothes were on top when the cycle finsished.3 days after the loud noise the motor once again burned out.I have had the machine for 9 months.I was willing to pay more to upgrade my $469.00 washer to a NON Hydrowave but G.E. wouldn't let me do so. They were so rude in the costomer consumer dept. The only thing they would do is offer me a year free warranty after this factory one was up in May.They told me, very rudely, "Ma'm, either you take what we offer you and quit giving us a hard time and work with us or you will be the one that is the loser" I guess I am luckier than some getting offered a year free warranty but after it is up I will NOT keep this machine. I would be really STUPID to buy another G.E. My old one lasted 18 yrs. with never any repair or trouble. If they would quit putting on plastic parts maybe they would last longer.
