I specifically purchased this top loading model as it said I could manually control the water level. A repairman came and replaced the motherboard which made no difference. Went to Home Depot where I purchased it plus contacted GE. Was given a story that the bin should only fill with only a few gallons of water - even though I may want it half full. Haven't gotten anywhere with this and am sure sorry that I purchased this GE Product in May, 2013.
