It's amazing how these big companies get away with selling this garbage. By now everyone who purchased this machine and is complaining about the same issue should be given free upgrades or repairs in order to have the product that new purchaser are getting. I am sure with all of these complaints GE has had time to address the issue and correct this problem are selling others the product I should have had; one that they have made better based on mine and everyone else's complaints. I see 5-star reviews for this product and in no way is that possible if others are having this same issue. If GE stands by its junky product they should be willing to poll this issue and do a recall or offer free repairs. Buyer beware, you may get one of the guinea pig editions instead of one of the upgraded ones. Before I purchased this washer I had never purchased a GE product. Just with this expensive lesson, I will never again. I won't even sell this garbage to get another brand. Selling it or donating it to a charity to sell to help others is cruel.
